Made in Milwaukee presented its first Bay View Gallery Night (BVGN) in June of 2011 to a very energetic crowd of Milwaukee art and music enthusiasts. The event supported 22 local businesses and over 60 artists with over 5,000 Milwaukeeans enjoying the Bay View Community. This free event saw record-setting crowds at local art-supporting establishments with many visitors having their first time experience in Bay View. BVGN encouraged attendees to walk, bike or drive to the host of participating locations using a full color printed map and/or an online map interface which allowed for easy reference and directions. Highlights included: family friendly art and crafts along with tours at Sweetwater Organics, Charles Dwyer showing at Sugar Maple, craft fair at Milwaukee Makerspace, live local music and local art at Club Girabaldi and Cactus Club, family friendly art and sidewalk chalk drawing at BYO Studio, and much much more…
2012 Highlights
For the 2012 BVGN, Made in Milwaukee is planning on doubling the exposure of the event and throwing a spring and a fall edition. New features to the event will be a bike tour of participating locations, more local music at several new venues, an expanded kids and family friendly arts and crafts event at Sweet Water Organics and more!

Bay View Gallery Night is a free and public event, a chance for Milwaukee to enjoy local creative talent and the up-and-coming neighborhood of Bay View. Exposure ranges from families and art enthusiasts of all ages during the early portion of the evening and a large group of 21-40 year olds attending the later portions.

Any Bay View business that would like to participate by featuring art and/or music just has to let us know what they are planning and we will list them on our website and our online map for free. Participant businesses must be open to the public from 5-9pm.

Participant Sponsor’s logo will appear on all printed material as well as online at bayviewgallerynight.com
